<br />1 <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93~093 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 93-2, M.S.A.P. 147-116-06, <br />NORTH INNSBRUCK DRIVE BITUMINOUS RESURFACING. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, bids for Improvement Project 93-2, M.S.A.P. 147-116-06, North <br />Innsbruck Drive Bituminous Resurfacing, were received, opened, and read aloud by the City: <br />Administration at 10:00 a.m., July 23, 1993, complying with the advertisement, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Midwest <br />Asphalt Corporation with a bid of $95,845.65, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Project 93-2, M.S.A.P. 147-116-06, is a Municipal State Aid Project and <br />the award of the bid is contingent on plan approval by the Office of State Aid. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Midwest Asphalt Corporation in the name of the City of New <br />Brighton for Improvement Project 93-2, 147-116-06, North Innsbruck Drive <br />Bituminous Resurfacing. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bid, except that the deposits of the successful low <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br /> <br />Adopted this of 27th day of July, 1993. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Robert Benke, . ayor <br /> <br />_...t~..- <br />.
