<br />, <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED <br />ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS UNDER <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES CHAPTER 462C RELATING TO A <br />MULTIFAMILY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota (the "City") will meet on Tuesday, May 25,1993 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, <br />803 - 5th Avenue North West, New Brighton, Minnesota, for the purpose of <br />conducting a public hearing on the proposed issuance by the City of refunding <br />revenue bonds of the City to refund the City's outstanding Multifamily Housing <br />Revenue Bonds, Series 1985 (Brightondale Residence Project) issued in the original <br />aggregate principal amount of $4,500,000 (the "Series 1985 Bonds"). The proceeds <br />of the Series 1985 Bonds were used to finance the acquisition, construction and <br />equipping of a multifamily rental housing development located in the City at 2700 Rice <br />Creek Road (the "Project"). The proceeds of the proposed bonds will be loaned to <br />G & P Properties, Inc., a Minnesota corporation. The size of the bond issue <br />proposed for the purpose of refunding the Series 1985 Bonds is presently estimated <br />not to exceed $3,500,000. The bonds shall be limited obligations of the City and the <br />bonds and interest thereon shall be payable solely from the revenues pledged to the <br />payment thereof, except that such bonds may be secured by a mortgage and other <br />encumbrance on the Project.
