<br />" . <br /> <br />~ <br />, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-036 <br />OF THE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />THE PROPOSAL TO ISSUE REVENUE BONDS OF THE <br />CITY TO REFUND CERTAIN MULTIFAMILY HOUSING <br />REVENUE BONDS OF THE CITY; AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PUBLICATION OF NOTICE THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota statutes, Chapters 462C and 462A, as <br />amended (the "Act") authorize a city to issue revenue obligations <br />to finance certain housing programs and to refund such Obligations <br />through the issuance of revenue bonds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, representatives of Golden Pond Limited Partnership <br />(the "Developer") have requested that the City of New Brighton (the <br />"city") issue its revenue obligations in a principal amount not to <br />exceed $3,315,000 for the purpose of refunding the outstanding <br />principal balance of the City's Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds, <br />Series 1988 (Golden Pond Housing Project) (the "Prior Bonds") <br />originally issued for the purpose of financing the Developer's <br />acquisition and construction of an 82-unit multifamily housing <br />development, in the City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, prior to approving the issuance of the refunding <br />bonds, the decision to issue such bonds must be considered at a <br />pUblic hearing, after notice, published at least 15 days before the <br />hearing, in a newspaper circulating generally within the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. That the city Council of the city will conduct a <br />public hearing on the proposal to issue revenue obligations <br />to refund the Prior Bonds on Tuesday, April 13, 1993 at 7:30 <br />o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />2. That the staff of the City is hereby authorized to <br />cause a pUblic notice, substantially in the form of the notice <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be published once in a <br />newspaper circulating generally within the boundaries of the <br />City not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the date <br />established for the pUblic hearing by the preceding paragraph <br />of this Resolution. <br /> <br />9857 <br />
