<br />,.. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-089 <br /> <br />STATE OF MlNNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />LUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 05-9, VIOLET COURT DRAIN TILE <br /> <br /> <br />SOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />AS, pursuant to a Petition and Waiver Agreement signed by the property owner and proper notice duly given as <br />by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed the proposed assessment of the benefited lots in the <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />construction of a drain tile pipe at 2427 Violet Court. <br /> <br />REFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $1,500.00 <br /> <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63059000 is hereby accepted and shall <br />constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is <br />hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) years, the <br />first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 2006 and shall bear interest at the rate of <br />4.90 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br /> <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County <br />Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the <br />City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of <br />assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and <br />provided. <br /> <br />5. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended <br />on the property tax list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner <br />as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />Adopt this 27th day of September, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />s~~i\ <br /> <br /> <br />l.-t'~t:L?!
