<br />~ k <br /> <br />_- , I' <br /> <br />- , <br />I' <br />i <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 0 9 7 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />" <br />il <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City provides water and sewer services; <br /> <br />:: <br />;1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost of these services is to be paid by the benefitted <br />property; <br /> <br />j' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to manage the services the City relies on prompt payment of <br />the amount billed; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Code provides that delinquent water and sewer bills <br />can be certified for collection with the property taxes; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a delinquency is defined as unpaid charges which are at <br />least ninety (90) days past due and over $100.00 as of September; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton to hereby adopt the following: <br /> <br />1. The amount to be certified shall be as specified on Attachment A. <br /> <br />2. The amount certified shall include interest at the rate of 8% per <br />annum. <br /> <br />I: <br /> <br />3.
