<br />& <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-067 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS TO <br />CHAPTER X, FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT, APPENDIX A OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE, AND DIRECTING ITS PUBLICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, Subd. 4 authorizes the <br />, publication of a summary of lengthy ordinances in lieu of publication of the entire <br />:! ordinance in certain circumstances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council held first reading of an ordinance entitled Floodplain <br />Management Ordinance on May 28, 1991, and adopted said ordinance on July 9, <br />1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that publication of the title and <br />summary of said ordinance hereinafter set forth would clearly inform the public of <br />the intent and effect of said ordinance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota that: <br /> <br /> <br />1. The Clerk shall publish the following title and summary of the Floodplain <br />Management Ordinance in lieu of publication of the entire ordinance: <br /> <br />FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE <br />(ORDINANCE SUMMARY) <br /> <br />Chapter X, Floodplain Management, Appendix A of the New Brighton City <br />Code has been amended and recodified by Ordinance No. 581. This <br />ordinance clarifies the restrictions and requirements applicable to use and <br />development of land within Floodway, Flood Fringe and General Floodplain <br />districts of the City.
