<br />... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-024 <br /> <br />"j . <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INSTALLATION OF "2 HOUR PARKING 8 A.M. TO <br />7 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY" SIGNS ON 4TH AVENUE NW BETWEEN <br />COUNTY ROAD E2 AND 6TH STREET NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, vehicles of employees and customers of nearby business are <br />parking on 4th Avenue NW between County Road E2 and 6th Street NW; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said vehicle parking has become excessive and has created <br />problems and inconveniences for residents living along this section of 4th <br />Avenue NW by: <br /> <br />1. Making it difficult for drivers to see children crossing the street and being <br />picked up and dropped by the school bus. <br />2. Restricting traffic flow and movement of emergencies vehicles. <br />3. Hampering snow plowing and street sweeping. <br />4. Hampering garbage and recyclable pickup. <br />5. Blocking traffic when deliveries are made to 4th Avenue residents. <br />6. Blocking driveways and mailboxes. <br />7. Loss of parking for 4th Avenue residents and their visitors and guests. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton hereby orders the installation of "2 HOUR PARKING, 8 A.M.
