<br />i: <br />" <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 016 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />I' RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AGAINST 1695 - 23RD AVENUE NW FOR <br />SANITARY SEWER SERVICE REPAIRS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owners of 1695 - 23rd Avenue NW have requested the City of <br />New Brighton to special assess the cost to repair their sanitary sewer service and have signed a <br />Petition and Waiver form prepared by the City Attorney; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the legal description of said property is Lot 1, Block 2, Brightwood Hills <br />Addition, Ramsey County, Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The principal amount of the sewer service repair is $1,446.99; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment is hereby accepted and approved. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable on or after the first Monday in January 1992 and <br />shall include $207.41 in interest, equal to an annual rate of interest of 8 % for the <br />period March 15,1991, to December 31,1992. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except <br />that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days <br />form the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the <br />County Treasurer the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest <br />accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the <br />County Auditor to be extended on the property tax list of the County and such <br />.; assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal <br />taxes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of February, 1991. <br /> <br />.........-'~ ... - "... <br /> <br />~/ ~ <br />( / , ,/ .. <br />/I" '-tt-l /' . .'- <br />Robert Benke, ayor <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />I .
