' <br /> <br />.<' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90- 070 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON LONG LAKE AREA STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br />'PROJECT 89-7. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota <br />"as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the <br />: City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the <br />i,proposed assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />The benefitted properties in the Long Lake areal <br /> <br />. 12th Avenue NW, Long Lake Road to 13th Street <br />· 13th Street NW, Long Lake Road to 12th Avenue <br />. 14th Avenue NW, 15th Street to Hipp's Addition <br />. 15th Street NW, Long Lake Road to 14th Avenue <br />· 15th Terrace NW, Long Lake Road to 14th Avenue <br />· 16th Street NW, Long Lake Road to 14th Avenue <br />· 16th Terrace NW, Long Lake Road to 14th Avenue <br /> <br />BY: The construction of storm sewer, curb and gutter and bi turoinous <br />surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data <br />Processing Improvement Number 5913 is hereby accepted and shall <br />constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, <br />and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br />benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the <br />assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of ten (10) years, the first installment to <br />be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1991, and shall <br />bear interest at the rate of 8. 5 percent per annum from the adoption <br />of this assessment resolution~ <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole <br />of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date <br />of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid wi thin 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay <br />the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid <br />with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case <br />made and provided. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this <br />assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax <br />list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid <br />over the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />;' Adopted this 14th day of August, 1990. <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />I' <br />:!
