<br />!,~ <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-QA.L <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-159 (SIGN <br />PLAN AMENDMENT FOR DONA TELLE PROPER TIES) . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been made by <br />Donatelle Properties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1. An application for a special use permit was filed with the City of <br />New Brighton on April 27, 1990. <br />2. The Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed <br />notices, held a public hearing on May 15, 1990, and all persons <br />present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />3. The application for SP-159 was reviewed by the City Council on <br />September 27, 1988. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the <br />following Findings of Fact in respect to SP-159: <br /> <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br /> <br />On July 23, 1985, the City Council approved a special use permit <br />(SP-126) which adopted the Donatelle Properties Sign Plan. <br />The original Donatelle Sign Plan designated one ground sign for the <br />Phase II building which would identify up to three tenants, <br />The proposed amendment to the original sign plan would allow a <br />total of two ground signs to be constructed in front of the Phase II <br />building. A total of four ground signs would be located along <br />5th A venue NW. <br />The proposed amendment would allow the ground signage for <br />Donatelle Properties along 5th Street NW to be consistent in that <br />each sign would identify a single tenant. <br />The proposed amendment to the Donatelle Sign Plan which would <br />allow a fourth ground sign along 5th Street NW would have a <br />minimal impact on surrounding land uses and comply with the <br />special use permit standards. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the application for SP-159 is hereby <br />approved and the attached text is hereby adopted as an amendment to the <br />adopted Donatelle Properties Sign Plan. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of May, 1990. <br /> <br />~ <br />~m,~ <br /> <br />David M.
