AND COMPARABLE WORTH SALARY <br />DETERMINATIONS. <br /> <br />;j <br />'; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges for the Pay Plan for non-union personnel <br />must be set annually by Council resolution; and <br /> <br />i! <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges have been reviewed and are attached to <br />this Resolution as Attachment A and B; and <br /> <br />!:. <br />ii wtlEREAS. these wage ranges set compensation in accordance with the <br />Ii <br />;, policy to compensatf' personnel at the Stanton mean; and <br />" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it also is proposed the the City continue to make d. <br />contribution toward the cost of employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. City policy provides that an employee shall he reimbursed <br />for use of their personal vehicle when used to conduct Cit,y business: <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. pursuant to HN Chapter 471. 992 and 471.994. the City has <br />prepared a Compal'able Worth Study for all employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City Council has approved the Study as presented. <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />New Brighton that: <br /> <br />1. The 1989 wage ranges shall be specified in Attachments A and B. <br /> <br />2. The City shall make a contribution of' up to $205 toward cost of <br />family health insurance and shall pay the entire premium for <br />single health insurance. <br /> <br />I <br />Ii <br />L <br /> <br />3. The City's reimbursement rate for use of a personal vehicle <br />used to conduct City business shall be consistent with the IRS <br />luaximum reimbursement rate per mile. The current maximum us <br />$.24 per mile. <br /> <br />"1 <br /> <br />i: <br />Ii <br /> <br />4. Monthly salaried, full-time regular employees who do not <br />receive overtime pay may receive an amount up to 5% of annual <br />salary to compensate for not receiving pay for overtime. This <br />policy is to be administered at the discretion of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />I, <br /> <br />5.
