Approval of Resolution authorizing city manager to negotiate with Ramsey County to <br />articipate in the Ramsey County Consolidated Communications Center. Report No. 05- <br />04. Resolution No. 05-042 <br /> <br />Director of Public Safety, Bob Jacobson gave an overview of the proposed negotiation, <br />describing the impact and issues associated with the Consolidated Communication Center. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Doffing seconded by Council Member Burg to waive the <br />reading and adopt the attached resolution subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The [mal fmancing allocation formula is equitable to New Brighton's residents and <br />taxpayers. <br /> <br />2. The fmal agreement receives the approval ofthe City Council. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Liaison Reoorts, Announcements, and Uodates <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Municipal Advisory Commission Reports: <br /> <br />COWlcil Member Mary Burg - Planning Commission - <br />Council Member Burg reported she attended, along with Director of Public Safety <br />Jacobson, a Northwest Youth and Family Service event. <br /> <br />Council Member Ann Hoffinan - Parks, Recreation, and Environmental <br />Commission - <br />Council Member Hoffman indicated that the RFP bids are due in Friday, May 13,2005; <br />also, Ed Greacen resigned fonn the Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission, <br />resulting in an available position. <br /> <br />Council Member Sharon Doffing - Economic Development Commission- <br />Council Member Doffing reported on Northwest Youth and Family Services, in addition <br />she acknowledged the Girl Scouts and Boy Scout in attendance. <br />Council Member Doffing gave a recap of the last Council Meetings approved items. <br /> <br />Council Member Kim Moore-Sykes - Public Safety Commission- <br />Council Member Moore-Sykes attended the New Brighton Historical Society Dinner. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Report No. 05-103 <br />Resolution No. 05-041 <br />Council Business <br />1.
