CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />ANDERSON LADn TO REFINISH THE GYMNASIUM AND COMMUNITY ROOM <br />FLOORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,934.00 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Public Hearing - None <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />On May 28, 2002, Council considered a prel iminary review application by Lampert Architects on <br />behalf of CSS Builders, for a Planned Residential Development (PRD), Nonconforming Use <br />Permit, Site Plan, and Preliminary Plat. The purpose of the request is to construct a 72-unit <br />condominium building, and subdivide the property into two lots of record. The subject property is <br />located at 219,221, and 321 Old Highway 8 NW, and is zoned R-3B, Multiple Family Residential. <br /> <br />The Council continued this item to the June 11, 2002 City Council meeting in order to consider <br />the possibility of converting the existing apartment building to condominiums. However, the <br />applicant is still reviewing this idea and has requested that this item be continued again. <br /> <br />Motion by Moore-Sykes, seconded by Hoffman, to CONTINUE PRELIMINARY REVIEW <br />APPROVAL OF THE NEW BIRGHTON CONDOS PROJECT TO PROVIDE THE <br />IAPPLICANT TIME SO SORT OUT DEVELOPMENT ISSUES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Samuelson noted City practice allows applicants for Handbill Distribution Licenses to be given <br />opportunity to attend Council meetings.
