The City advertised and received five bids with the low bid from Penn <br />Contracting. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Moore-Sykes, to APPROVE PROJECT 01-9, 17TH <br />STREET NW DEEP SANITARY SEWER SERVICE REPAIRS, AND AWARD THE <br />BID TO PENN CONTRACTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $158,460.00. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Final Approval of Plans and Agreements for Silver Lake Road Reconstruction between 1- <br />694 and 15th St. NW. <br /> <br />Dan Soler, Ramsey County, explained that this project includes the eventual reconstruction <br />of the entire span of Silver Lake Road. Phase one construction would occur in 2002, and <br />the second phase will begin soon after. Public informational meetings wiU be held. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Sweeley, to APPROVE THE PLANS AND <br />AGREEMENTS PW 2001-10 AND PW 2001-11, FOR THE SILVER LAKE ROAD <br />RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT BETWEEN 1-694 AND 15TH STREET NW. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consideration of proposed terms for the acquisition of property at 1192 Old Hwy 8 NW, <br />Keys Restaurant. Keys have voluntarily discussed the sale of the property, and negotiations <br />are stiU underway regarding the purchase price.
