Council Member introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO MODIFY THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1 AND THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NOS. 2, 5-12, 14-20, 23, 25-30, 31 (NWQ SPECIAL LAW), 32 (NWQ SPECIAL LAW), TO CREATE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 33 AND ADOPT THE APPROPRIATE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: Section 1. Public HearinQ. 1.01. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 commencing at approximately 7:30 o'clock p.m. at City Hall, 803 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton, Minnesota, to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (1) modifications to the Development Program for Development District No. 1 (the "Project Area") to reflect increased project costs and increased bonding authority within the Project Area, (2) modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 2, 5-12, 14-20, 23, 25-30, 31 (NWQ Special Law) and 32 (NWQ Special Law) to reflect increased project costs and increased bonding authority within the Project Area, (3) creation of Tax Increment Financing District No. 33, and (4) adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.1799, inclusive, as amended and supplemented from time to time. Section 2. Notice of Hearing; Filinq of Plans. 2.01. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the public hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be published as required by law, to place a copy of the modified Development Program and the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 33 (collectively the "Plans") on file in the City Clerk's office and to make such Plans available for inspection by the public.
