<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, November 14,2000, <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Old Highway 8 NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Gunderman, Hoffman, Moore-Sykes, and Samuelson. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />David Black, Assistant Community Director <br />Matthew Fulton, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Report 00-265, 2001 Liquor License Fee Increase was removed from the Council agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Hoffman, seconded by Moore-Sykes, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutcs <br /> <br />Motion by Moore~Sykes, seconded by Hoffman, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE OCTOBER 24,2000, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Larson, with Council consent, reccived the minutes ofthe Planning Commission - <br />September 19,2000. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Planning Commissioner Mike Livingston recently passed away, Larson noted his <br />outstanding contribution to the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Moore-Sykes, to RECOGNIZE OFFICER ANTHONY <br />PAETZNICK AND OFFICER TROY HYLAND WITH THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />DEPARTMENT PUBLIC SAFETY LIFE SAVING A WARD. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Special Order of <br />Business <br /> <br />Mike Livingston death <br /> <br />Police Life Saving <br />A ward <br />Report 00-255 <br />
