<br />'" <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />";1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89~ 2 4 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON M.S.A. STREET <br />REHABILITATION, PROJECT 88-18. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, <br />the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the <br />proposed assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />The benefitted properties abutting the following <br />streets: <br />o Mississippi Street between Stinson Boulevard and <br />Long Lake Road <br />o 14th Street NW between Silver Lake Road and Long <br />Lake Road <br />o 5th Street NW between Stinson Boulevard and Old <br />Highway 8 <br />o Foss Road between the west City limits and Old <br />Highway 8 <br /> <br />BY: Concrete curb repair, surface milling and bituminous <br />paving. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data <br />Processing Numbers 5837, 5838, 5839, and 5840, is hereby <br />accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the <br />lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is <br />hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in <br />the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of ten (10) years, the first installment <br />to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1990 and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of 8.5 percent per annum from <br />the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior <br />to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued <br />to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br />interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br />time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of <br />assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance <br />with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this <br />assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the <br />property tax list of the County and such assessments shall be <br />collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal <br />taxes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 3rd day of October, <br /> <br />1989. <br /> <br />~UL <br /> <br />RObeM ".,- Mayor <br /> <br />J1'A' l m, O'l\i~ <br /> <br />David M.
