<br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-~ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW <br />BRIGHTON (generally 1360 Old Highway 8). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has been requested to subdivide <br />certain property in the city of New Brighton described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the SE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 30, Range 23 in <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota beginning on the North line of the SE 1/4 <br />and the West line of Highway 8: thence West on said North line to a <br />point 1,257.55 feet East of the Northwest corner of the SE 1/4: <br />thence due South to the North line of Tract A, Registered Land <br />Survey No. 105: thence Northeasterly on the North line of Tract A <br />and Northeasterly extension to the West line of Highway 8: thence <br />North on said West line to beginning. <br /> <br />That part of Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 105, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota being part Northerly of a line beginning on the Westerly <br />line of Tract T and 34.2 Feet South from the Northwesterly corner; <br />thence Northeasterly and parallel with the Northwesterly line of <br />said Tract T and its Northeasterly extension to a point on the West <br />line of Highway 8 and Easterly of a line beginning on the North line <br />of the Se 1/4 1,257.55 Feet East of the Northwest corner of the SE <br />1/4 thence due South to intersect first described line. <br /> <br />That part of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 30, <br />Range 23 in Ramsey County, Minnesota lying West of Highway * and <br />East of Registered Land Survey No. 105 and adjacent to the North <br />64.2 feet, more or less, of Tract V and that part of Tract V, <br />Registered Land Survey No. 105, Ramsey County, Minnesota Northerly <br />of a line beginning on the Westerly line of Tract T and 34.2 feet <br />Southerly from the Northwesterly corner thereof; thence <br />Northeasterly and parallel with the Northwesterly line of Tract T <br />and its Northeasterly extension to a point on the Westerly line of <br />Highway No.8. <br /> <br />That part of Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 105 and also that <br />part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 30, Range 23, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the <br />northeast corner of said southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed <br />bearing of West along the northerly line of said Southeast Quarter <br />to a point 1,257.55 feet easterly of the northwest corner of said <br />Southeast Quarter; thence on a bearing of South to the intersection <br />with the northeasterly extension of the northwesterly line of said <br />Tract A and the point of beginning of the land to be described: <br />thence continuing on a bearing of South to the intersection with the <br />easterly extension of the northerly line of Tract L, said Registered <br />Land Survey No. 105; thence westerly along said easterly extension <br />to the northwesterly line of said Tract A; thence northeasterly <br />along said northwesterly line and its northeasterly extension to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, State Statutes require that if such property is located in <br />municipalities that have adopted a platting ordinance, approval of that <br />municipality must be obtained before such subdivisions can be filed, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 26-24 of the New Brighton City Code provides for <br />subdivision of property without platting if certain criteria can be met; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such criteria has been <br /> <br />met. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton <br />that the Council approves subdivision of the above described property into <br />the parcel described as follows: <br />
