<br />., <br /> <br />_:.f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-95 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MODIFYING LAWN SPRINKLING RESTRICTIONS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />,adopted Resolution No. 88-61 on June 14, 1988, imposing lawn <br />sprinkling restrictions to prevent water shortages in the <br />municipal water system during the hot, dry surruner of 1988, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, recent rainfall, cooler weather and the end of the <br />typical high lawn sprinkling season has resulted in a <br />substantial reduction in water demand enabling a modification of <br />the lawn sprinkling restriction. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the lawn sprinkling <br />restrictions in Resolution No. 88-61 be modified as follows: <br /> <br />1. The total sprinkling ban between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 <br />p.m. be lifted. <br /> <br />2. The odd/even sprinkling restriction continue in effect <br />for all hours of the day with the exception that new <br />sod and seed may be watered every day for a period not <br />to exceed 3 weeks. <br /> <br />Adopted this 6th day of September, 1988. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />.J <br /> <br /> <br />Egan, <br />irector/City Clerk <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
