'.~ ..:~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />88-7 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNFSorA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WAGE RANGES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NON-UNION <br />PERSONNEL, TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT, AND CCMPARABLE IDRrH SALARY DE'I'ERMINATIONS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges for the Pay plan for non-union personnel must <br />be set annually by Council resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wage ranges have been reviewed and are attached to this <br />Resolution as Attachrrents A and B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these wage ranges set corrpensation in accordance with the p:>licy <br />to corrpensate personnel at the Stanton mean; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it also is proposed that the City continue to make a contribution <br />toward the cost of employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />~"lliEREl-\S, City policy provides that an errployee shall be reimbursed for use <br />of their personal vehicle when used to conduct City business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to ~.s Chapter 471.992 and 471.994, the City has <br />prepared a Comparable Worth Study for all employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the Study as presented. <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton that: <br /> <br />1. The 1988 wage ranges shall be specified in Attach1rents <br />A and B. <br /> <br />2. The City shall make a contribution of up to $190 toward the cost <br />of family health insurance and shall pay the entire premium for <br />single health insurance. <br /> <br />3. The City 's reimburserrent rate for use of personal vehicle <br />used to conduct City business shall be consistent with the IRS <br />maximum reimburserrent rate per mile up to a maximum of $.225 per <br />mile. <br /> <br />4. Monthly salaried, full-ti.rrE regular employees who do not receive <br />overtime pay may receive an arrount up to 2~% of annual salary to <br />conpensate for not receiving pay for overtirre. This policy is to <br />be administered at the discretion of the City Manager. <br /> <br />5. Ehployees shall receive carpensation in compliance with the <br />Comparable Worth Plan approved by the City on August 25th, 1987. <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />, 1988 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGH'ION <br /> <br />~ <br />Robert J.
