<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, March 14,2000, at <br />7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Old Highway 8 NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Larson, Councilmembers Gunderman, Hoffman, Moore-Sykes, and Samuelson. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Maurie Anderson, Park and Recreation Director <br />Matthew Fulton, City Manager <br />Steve Rymer, FSC Manager <br /> <br />Council Al!enda <br /> <br />Larson added to the Special Order of Business, a presentation by Cub Scout Troop 106. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />COUNCIL AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Hoffman, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 22, 2000, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Larson, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Planning Commission - <br />December 21, 1999 and January 18,2000. <br /> <br />Soecial Order of Business <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Moore-Sykes, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A $100.00 DONATION FROM <br />HAROLD AND CATHLEEN RADKE TO BE DIVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN <br />THE FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Dean Elwell has applied for the vacancy on the Public Safety Commission. Elwell is a <br />resident and NSP employee who has special experience in outdoor lighting.
