CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF FINAL PAYMENT ON <br />PROJECT 94-7, BRIGHTON GREEN UTILITIES, IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$17,806.63 TO SHIELDS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; AND THE <br />FINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT IS $265,529.20. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENT OF THE ELECTION <br />OFFICIALS LISTING AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO <br />AMEND THE LISTING AS NECESSARY. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO WAIVE THE PERMIT FEES <br />FOR STOCKYARD DAYS 1996 PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION 85-42. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Hear~ - Ramsey County Lot Split - PL-229 - 7:35-7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />City Planner Erny Mattila presented Ramsey County's request to split two pieces of <br />railroad ROW (right-of-way) and combine them into the Long Lake Regional Park. The <br />subdivision complies with standards and will have minimal impact on nearby parcels. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Samuelson, to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Hearing was closed at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION APPROVING PL-229. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Second St. NW Vacation - 7:37-7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Mattila presented a proposal to vacate a portion of the 2nd St. NW ROW which lies on <br />the northerly portion of Brighton Corporate Park II. The ROW is left over from when <br />2nd St. served several homes, and now no longer serves a public purpose and is <br />impeding the development of Lot 1. The developer has an early right of entry <br />agreement with the City to begin grading. However, the ROW must be vacated before <br />transfer of the property.
