The City is currently processing a final plat known as Long Lake Landing,
consisting of all land within Tract 1 of the Northwest Quadrant including the southern 6 acres of
Midwest Asphalt. In order to facilitate this platting process, and ultimately sale of the land to the
developers, eight existing easements must be vacated. These easements consist of sanitary
sewer, utility, and ingress and egress and are no longer necessary as new easements are dedicated
as part of the final plat process.

The formal easement vacation process requires that the Council hold a public hearing and vacate
all necessary easements by Resolution. The eight Resolutions attached reference the type of
easement being vacated and the legal description of that easement and/or the document number
under which it was originally recorded as. These Resolutions provide the legal means for
vacation following Council adoption and will be recorded against the property(s) for future
reference.
Attachments: Resolutions

Costs and Funding: Not Applicable

Janice Gundlach
'City Planner
