<br />... <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />NOTICE OF BOND SALE <br />$2,125,000 <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1986, SERIES A <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON, MINNESOTA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />These Bonds will be offered for sale on sealed bids on <br />Tuesday, July 22, 1986. <br /> <br />Bids will be accepted by the undersigned until 1:00 o'clock, <br />P.M., Central Time, at the New Brighton City Hall when they <br />will be opened. The City Council will meet at 7:30 o'clock, <br />P.M., Central Time, on the same day to consider the bids for <br />award of sale. The Bonds will be dated August 1, 1986, will <br />bear interest payable semiannually on each February 1 and <br />August 1, commencing August 1, 1987, and will mature on <br />February 1 in the amounts and years as follows: <br /> <br />Year Amount Year Amount <br />1989 $ 160,000 1995 $ 160,000 <br />1990 165,000 1996 165,000 <br />1991 165,000 1997 165,000 <br />1992 160,000 1998 160,000 <br />1993 165,000 1999 165,000 <br />1994 165,000 2000 165,000 <br /> 2001 165,000 <br /> <br />All Bonds maturing in the years 1994 through 2001, will be <br />subject to prior redemption at the option of the City on <br />February 1, 1993 and on any interest payment date thereafter <br />at par plus accrued interest. Each rate must be in an <br />integral multiple of 5/100 or 1/8 of 1%, and no rate of <br />interest nor the net effective rate of the issue may exceed <br />the maximum rate permitted by law on the date of sale. <br />Minimum price, $2,084,625. An approving legal opinion will <br />be furnished by O'Connor and Hannan, of Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota.
