<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 8, 1995 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Special Order of Business. continued <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />EAGLES FOR THEIR $2,000 DONA TION TOWARDS PROJECT KIDCARE. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Williams said Kid Care is an excellent program and applauds the Eagles. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND THANK REMMELE <br />ENGINEERING FOR A DONATION OF $400 TO THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />DARE PROGRAM. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA ITEMS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS: 064967-065159 FOR A GRAND <br />TOTAL OF $325,772.95. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO AWARD THE BID FOR <br />WELL #14 TO KEYS WELL DRILLING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$95,910 CONTINGENT UPON WRITTEN CONCURRENCE FROM <br />THE ARMY. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Business - None <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />The New Brighton Chamber luncheon on August 10 will focus on TCAAP property. <br /> <br />Gunderman thanked staff for the success of National Night Out.
