<br />J <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, March 22, <br />1994, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Samuelson and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Maurie Anderson, Park and Recreation Director <br />Matthew Fulton, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE MARCH 8, 1994, COUNCIL MEETING MINUTFS. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Economic <br />Development Commission - February 1 and IS, 1994; Environmental Quality <br />Commission - February 9, 1994; Planning Commission - January 18 and February <br />IS, 1994; and Cable Advisory Committee - February IS, 1994. <br /> <br />SDecial Order of Business <br /> <br />Council thanked the Tri-City Legion for their donation to the D.A.R.E. Program. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Larson, to ACCEPI' A DONATION OF $300 <br />FROM THE TRI..cITY LEGION TO BE USED FOR D.A.R.E.
