IF <br />NECESSARY; AND ADOPTION OF THE LEVY ON DECEMBER 14, 1993. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Uodates <br /> <br />Rebelein said the Cable Commission has decided not to make a formal <br />recommendation in regards to the retransmission of network broadcasts. <br />Jeanetta said the Commission felt the negotiations with the commercial <br />television stations were going well and felt there was no need for lobbying. <br /> <br />Williams noted that Report 93-243, First Reading of an Ordinance <br />Amending City Code for Adoption of the 1991 Minnesota State Uniform <br />Fire Code, was included in the Consent Agenda and was approved. <br /> <br />Larson noted a Police report which stated that 14 New Brighton businesses <br />showed responsibility and restricted the sell of tobacco products to minors. <br />However, a small number of businesses did violate the ordinance and were <br />cited.
