<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />November 16. 1992 <br />From: Kids and Adults Concerned about the Future of Sliver Lake Road <br />To: New Brighton City Council <br /> <br />PETITION <br /> <br />We, the users of 5i )ver Lake Road, are opposed to the current proposal to <br />widen Silver Lake Road from 1-694 to Sliver Lane at a cost of $3,3 million, In the <br />future, we are concerned about the negative Impact of a bigger road through the <br />mlddle of New Brlghton, <br />We support preserving the environment by bu11dlng roads that provide <br />alternatlve ways to travel besides uslng a car, We want to walk on the sidewalks <br />without bicycles on them, We want to bicycle safely on the paved shoulders'of the <br />road so we can safely travel berore we can drive. As adults we want to saVe on <br />gasoline.
