<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCil PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, 8 regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday. <br />November 10, 1992, at 7:35 p.m, in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW, <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, larson, Rebelein and Williams, <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Jill Hanson, Community Development Specialist <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by larson, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE THE COUNCil <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes. 0 Nayes, Motion Carried, <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, with Council consent, received the minutes of the Park Board <br />- October 7, 1992. <br /> <br />Soedsl Order of Business <br /> <br />Council welcomed several members of Cub Scout Pack 106 to the Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Council reviewed the list of Housing Task Force volunteers, and noted two <br />additional applicants, Kathy Bona and Tom Grant, <br /> <br />The volunteer list is divided into 13 categories, each representing a <br />segment of New Brighton's housing community and balanced geographic <br />distribution, Benke noted several geographic areas which are under <br />represented: Cleveland Ave" Sunnyside area, Redwood lane, Forestdale <br />and Seminary Estates, west of Silver Lake Road and north of 15th St" <br />Brighton Square, Windsor Green, and under representation from <br />apartments, Benke feels potential volunteers should be recruited from <br />those areas.
