The electric power to the street light would be <br />powered off of the existing power pole. <br /> <br />AU street lights are leased from Xcel Energy. The current rate for the new street light will be <br />$9.22 per month. AU cost will be paid from the Street Light Fund. <br /> <br />Explanation: The purpose of this item is to recommend the installation of one new City street <br />light on an existing power pole at 2120 Long Lake Road. The attached map shows the locations <br />of existing street lights on Long Lake Road, as well as the recommended new street light. A <br />petition signed by all of the residents in the vicinity of the new street light is attached and the <br />street light conforms to the City's adopted street lighting policy in that the spacing between <br />existing street lights exceeds the minimum requirements. The street lighting policy states that <br />street lights shaU be instaUed at a minimum spacing of 660 feet along all skeletal system <br />sidewalks, bikeways, designated bike lanes, and bike routes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Gra t M.
