<br />" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.85~63 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-123 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been <br />made by Skowat, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />;1 <br /> <br />1. That an application for a special use permit was <br />filed with the City on May 7, 1985. <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published <br />and mailed notices, held a public hearing on June 18, <br />1985, all person1s present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That the application for a special use permit, SP-123 <br />was reviewed by the City Council on June 25, 1985 and <br />that the comments and analysis of staff and the Planning <br />Commission minutes and recommendations were considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the <br />i following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-123: <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned 1-2, Heavy Industrial. <br />2. That the ground sign and wall signs are within the <br />area requirements. <br />3. That the complex is made up of multiple buildings <br />with individual entrances. <br />4. That the wall signs, except for the office building, <br />will not be visible from 1st Street SW. <br />5. That the proposed sign plan is consistent and compatible <br />with the basic intention of the sign ordinance in that <br />it reduces clutter and provides sound identification. <br /> <br />. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application SP-123 is and <br />'hereby approved subject to the follo~ing conditions: <br /> <br />1. That all required sign permits and fees be submitted for <br />the five signs on the premises which have not yet applied <br />for permi ts. <br /> <br />, Adopted this 25th day of June, 1985. <br /> <br />.51f#'?E~~ <br />Greg B.Harcus, Mayor <br /> <br />.
