The money will give us the opportunity to purchase much needed
training manikins for teaching life saving skills.

Explanation:
The New Brighton Eagles Auxiliary continues to show support for the City of New Brighton and
has donated a significant amount of funds. The new training equipment will help us serve the
community by providing babysitting safety classes, lifeguard training as well as CPR! AED and
first aid classes. Over the past several years we have seen a 400% increase in participation and
certifications in safety related courses at the City of New Brighton. We have also trained our full
and part time Police, Fire and Parks and Recreation Department staff in CPR! AED first aid and
safety.

Kip LaMotte
Fire Marshal

1:\COUNCll.\RP..PORTS\2U06\Parb and Recrcation\NB Eagles Aux CPR Donation,do{,;
