<br />, , <br /> <br />Council Proceedings <br />City of New Brighton <br />April 8, 1975 <br /> <br />Planning Commission, Citi?ens Study Committee and <br />Businessmen's Association of the council's desire <br />to have a member recommended to the Task Force and to <br />defer action on the appointments to the first meeting in <br />May <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Motion by Rebel~in, seconded by Eagon to waive reading <br />of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING 1975 NEvJ BRIGHTON BUDGET TO <br />PROVIDE FOR C.E.T.A. EMPLOYEE <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Mr. Lewis Lange, owner of property, was present to <br />answer Council questions. <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Fisher to approve <br />the amended site plan dated April 8, 1975 and signed <br />by the Building and Planning Coordinator conditioned <br />upon the adding of concrete curbs in the rear parking <br />area and subject to the submission of required grading <br />information to the Building and Planning Coordinator <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Mr. David Kasell, representing wyman-Nelson stated <br />that.Perkins would like a 10 x 12 sign, 35 feet in <br />height, set back 40 feet from New Highway 8 and County <br />Road D oriented to Ne~ Highway 8 <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Anderson to find that <br />a hardship exists and to authorize administrative <br />authority to issue sign permit to Perkins Cake and <br />Steak in accordance with plans signed by Building and <br />Planning Coordinator dated April 8, 1975, such sign to be <br />10 x 12 in area, 35 reet high, set back 40 feet from <br />County Road D and New High"7ay 8 and oriented <br />(perpendicular) to New Highway 8 <br /> <br />Publis Hearinqs <br />Attorney stated 11earing remained properly called <br />Councilman Fisher made the following suggestions <br />that should be considered as amendments to the <br />proposed ordinance: either (1) use the text of the <br />existing ordinance but extend the items of information <br />requirement to all signs on the property with a limit <br />of 6 items or (2) refer to the previous text and <br />amend such text to provide a limit of 15 items of <br />information. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Appointments <br />to Task Force <br />May 13 <br />Meeting <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />#1539 <br /> <br />Lang~ <br />Realty / <br />'-- -~ <br /> <br />Perkins Cake <br />and Steak <br /> <br />Sign Permit <br /> <br />Sign <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />8 : 4 5 to <br />9:02 <br />
