We believe
that each one of us should share in the responsi-
bility to preserve and protect the natural and man-
made beauty in which we live.

During the past decade outdoor lighting has been
marked by tremendous achievement in lamp tech-
nology and by a demand for higher levels of illumi-
nation. Simultaneously, there has been an increas-
ing neglect of the ecological effects of outdoor
lighting. During daylight hours the outdoor lighting
fixture has often become an unrelated aesthetic
form, clashing with its surroundings. At night the
fixture often produces a nightmare of glare, thereby
becoming a source of visual pollution.

Lighting For Ecology has been designed by Kim to
achieve the joint objectives of lighting efficiency
and lighting aesthetics. The physical form of this
newest addition to the Kim line will complement
its surroundings both in daytime and nighttime. It
will precisely control light distribution for a com-
fortable glare-free nighttime illumination.

Kim's Lighting For Ecology is the best possible
choice for lighting specifiers who are concerned
about their environment.

~

LJ
~

I
11

application
0
highways
residential roadways
parking areas
college campuses
pedestrian walkways
shopping centers
ma lis
air terminals
whiteways
industrial parks
urban renewal projects
0 art and music centers
recreation facilities
community centers
resort centers
pa rks
hospitals
sports centers
cultural centers
airport roads
marinas
museums
) universities
bridges
automobile dealers

r
y'
i"
. ,I

rl
