<br />Council Consideration <br />Building Permit <br />June ~4, 1975 <br /> <br />Request: Council authorization of one building permit <br />for a detached garage and storage building <br /> <br />Applicant: UOP Johnson <br /> <br />Locati.on: 1950 Old Hwy. 8 <br /> <br />size of Buildinq: 12' x 20' <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The applicant wishes to erect a wood frame garage building <br />at the rear of his property for the storage of equipment. <br />The building will be located on an existing asphalt area <br />behind a high board-cn-board fence which will largely screen <br />the building from view. No other alterations will be ulade to <br />site. We see no problem with the request. <br /> <br />The plan that has been provined to the Council is a schematic <br />which lacks certain information normally found on a landscape <br />and plot plan. This has been do~e simply for the purpose of <br />clarity. We have complete landscape and plot plan information <br />should any member of the Council wish to see it, however, in <br />this instant because no other ' alterations were being made to <br />the site, it did not seem necessary to include this in the <br />drawings that went to Council members. <br /> <br />P1anninq Commission Consideration 6-17-75: <br /> <br />The Chairman read the background discussion. <br /> <br />Brian Golberg was present to represent the applicant. He <br />stated that the purpose of the garage is to take care of some <br />outside storage. <br /> <br />planninq Commission Recommend~tion 6-17-75: <br /> <br />Motion by Anderson. seconded by Bohling, to recommend <br />approval of LP-20. <br /> <br />Motion carried, 4-0 <br />
