<br />Council Business <br />The City Attorney briefed the Council on I-335 concerns <br />and listed alternatives that the Council might take. <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Senden to defer <br />action on this question until the next meeting of the <br />Council, November 28 and that it be placed as the first <br />item under Council Business. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Al Perez, 390 Kiow~ member of the EQC, spoke regarding <br />the noise problem on 10th Street. <br /> <br />Kevin Ferris, 800 10th Street N.W. spoke in opposition <br />to the truck traffic and noise on that street. <br /> <br />- <br />, <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg to direct <br />the City Manager to correspond with the trucking firms <br />and request that they reduce or limit wherever possible <br />the-. truck traffic through the residential areaS in the <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried ; <br /> <br />city. <br /> <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Janecek to amend <br />the Recreational Vehicle Ordinance to read: <br /> <br />Section 1. add to the last line of (x) ...by the City Council <br />or as otherwise provided in this code (see 29-44 to <br />29-50) . <br />and to hold first reading of an ordinance entitled <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-3 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE IN REGARD TO USE OF OFF STREET RECREATIONAL <br />VEHICLES. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to waive reading <br />the resolution and adopt RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION <br />OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />(generally south of 3A Street NW and west of Old <br />Highway 8) <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded byWerdouschegg to amend <br />the resolution in regard to conditions of operation <br />for an auto body shop, Doug Peterson in the following <br />manner: Under #1. six (6) cars be changed to twelve(12) cars <br />Under Item 2. add that fencing should be done after <br />March 1, 1979 but by March 15 if the body shop still <br />exists at that location, and <br />add an item # 5 to read: <br />The use of the premises as an auto body shop be <br />reviewed at the Council meeting Feb. 27, 1979. <br />and to adopt RESOLUTION N1ENDING CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. <br />IN REGARD TO CONDITIONS OF OPERATION FOR AN AUTO BODY SHOP <br />as amended. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />I-335 <br />Defer to <br />Nov. 28 <br /> <br />10th Street <br />Noise <br /> <br />1st reading <br /> <br />Recreational <br />Vehicle Ord. <br /> <br />Minor Subd. <br />Janssen <br /> <br />Rpt 78-275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO. 2119 <br /> <br />Peterson <br />Auto shop <br /> <br />Rpt 78-148 <br /> <br />1438 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2120 <br />
