This relatec ~ducational <br />facility woul~ be used for counseling services and is shown primarily <br />to contain office rooms. <br /> <br />Plans submittpo in~icate two alternatives for parking, One <br />alternative shows parking for eight spaces and the other alternative <br />shO\,A,7S a much expanded area for an arlcitional',6 spaces Thp applicants <br />have indicate(l that the expanoe(l parking schemp is contingent on the <br />available financial resources. We would not~ that according to the <br />Special Use Permit resolution, the actual parking requirements are <br />to be determined by the City Council. The Master Plan text indicates <br />that the parking area would have a bituminous surface and would <br />be curbed. Access to the Career Development Center anA parking <br />areas would be from DriftvlOod Lane ana Fifth Street NN. <br /> <br />The Plot plan is complete with the exception that ~ire hydrant <br />locations are not ShOWD. The concern for fire hy(lrant locations <br />is discussed in the Master Plan discussion <br /> <br />The landscaping plan indicates plantings around the proposed <br />building and parking area However, hhe landscape plan is missing <br />such information as 1) quantity, size, and diameter of tree~ and <br />shrubs; 2) what other ground cover will be, such as grass - seeded <br />or sod, and 3) the extent of landscaping to be completed. The plan <br />does not indicate how much of the adjacent land ,~ill be landscaped. <br />In relation to the landscape plan, the applicants have indicated <br />to the Planning Commission the following: <br /> <br />1. That sod will be placeo within 10 feet of the building <br />ana all sidewalks and paved areas; <br />
