<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Request: LP-3?, Council authorization of building permit for expan- <br />sion to existing inaustrial building. <br /> <br />Applicant: Rutledge Cons~~\1c~ion C~/Ideal Grain and Seed Cleaner Co. <br /> <br />Location: 85 2nd Ave. SE <br /> <br />Size of Expansion: 40' x ~O' -- 2000 sq ft. <br /> <br />Heiqht: 18 feet <br /> <br />Exterior Treatment: Painted concrete block <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The plan provided by the applicant indicates that the proposer <br />expansion wou10 be to the east side of the aodition completed less <br />than a year ago. The plan further indicates that there would be. <br />one loading dock constructed which ~7ould face north, ana that the <br />yard abutting this dock would be surfaced with crushed rock which <br />would be oiled. The plot plan is complete and contains all of the <br />required information. <br /> <br />The landscape plan is essentially the eame as that presented <br />for the first expansion. The only exception to the prior lanascaping <br />plan is the small area at the entrance to the parking area south <br />of the building, which will be landscaped. The landscape plan is <br />complete except that the type or landscaping for this small area <br />has not been specified. vie would suggest that the Planning Commission <br />receive this information prior to forwarcing this request to the <br />Council. <br /> <br />All Code requirements are met with the exception of the non- <br />conforming use ad discussed in NC-lO. <br />
