<br />COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />BUILDING PERMIT <br />July 27, 1976 <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />LP-34 <br /> <br />Wickland questioned the small areas on the front of the building <br />which have been shown to be painted concrete block. <br /> <br />The city planner noted that painted concrete blocks is not a per- <br />mitted exterior treatment for the street side of a building. <br /> <br />Mr. Murlowski stated that changing the exterior treatment for <br />these small areas would not present a problem. <br /> <br />Motion by Wickland, seconded by Fredrickson, to recommend <br />approval of LP-34 subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />I. That the building be positioned 5 feet further <br />east than as shown on the applicant's plan. <br />2. That the exterior treatment not include areas of <br />painted concrete block. <br /> <br />Partyka noted that it would be advisable to vacate the sewer <br />easement running through the center of the parcel. <br /> <br />4 ~yes - 0 Nayes - Carried <br /> <br />Wickland noted that the application was in conformance with <br />city codffiand that this area was suited for this type of develop- <br />ment. <br /> <br />Fredrickson asked that the New Brighton HRA receive a copy of <br />the report since this property is within the HRA study area. <br />
