Corporation <br /> <br />Name of Development: Rice Creek Plaza <br /> <br />Location: 2160 Silver Lake Road (Generally north of Rice <br />Creek Road, south of Mississippi Street, and <br />west of Silver Lake Road.) <br /> <br />Zoninq: B-3 <br /> <br />Size of Structure: "L" Shaped 80'x230'=l8,400 sq ft. <br />llO'x290'=31,900 ~q ft. <br />TOTAL 50,300 sq. ft. <br /> <br />Heiqht: To match existing Super Valu Store <br /> <br />~xterior Treatment: Brick, Cedar Shingles, and Cedar Board <br />(to match Super Valu) <br /> <br />Parkinq: Total of 461 spaces - 414 spaces on Shopping Center <br />Parcel. 47 spaces on proposed steak house parcel. <br /> <br />Natuy.e of Request: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting Council approval for author- <br />ization of a building permit to allow construction of a <br />neighborhood shopping center. The shopping center would be <br />located on Lot 2 of the proposed Rice Creek Plaza P~at. <br /> <br />The proposed structure is shown as being "L" shaped in <br />design, with an enclosed arcade separating the two business <br />sections of the development. The most easterly section of <br />the structure is shown to have a common wall arrangement <br />with the existing Erickson's Super Value There would be no <br />internal connection between the Super Valu Store and the <br />proposed shopping center. Access to the building would be <br />from individual entrances on the south side of the structure <br />and through the enclosed arcade on the north side of the <br />building. <br /> <br />Major tenants for the development have been indicated to <br />be a Snyder Bros.
