LP-41

-3-

J

In regard to the landscaping plan, we would note that the
proposed Skyline Locust and Radiant Crab trees are shown to be
2" - 2~" in circumference. It may be desirable to plant somewhat
larger trees, perhaps up to l~" in diameter. The somewhat larger
sizes would provide more intia1 buffering and would also have a
greater chance for survival.

We would suggest that any recommendation of approval be con-
ditioned on conformance to the site and landscape plan submitted.

planninq Commission Consideration and Recommendation (3/15/77):

L?-41, William Forder

The city Planner reviewed his comments noting that the applicant
has expressed a desire to add on to the building in the relatively
near future.

Mr. William Forder, applicant, and Mr. Michael Rich, contractor,
were present to answer questions.

Chairman Brown asked what the proposed dustless surface was ~o be.

Mr. Rich stated that the dustless surface would be bituminous.

Commissioner Doyle asked the applicant if they realized that the
Council could no't approve a building permit for the phase shm.m on the
plans submitted.

Mr. R1cn stdb::d he was aware of this situation and that when
~hc ~uilding expansion occurs, they would be making another
application.

Motion by Doyle, seconed by Brown, to recommend approval of
LP-41 subject to conformance with the site and landscape plan.

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Brown, to amend the motion to
include the following Findings of Fact:

1. All code requirements are met by this application.
2. The site, landscape and building plans are complete.
3. utilities are available.

Further, that the approval be conditioned on bituminous
surfacing being provided for the dustless surfacing.
Vote on amendment - 4 ayes ~ 0 nayes - carried
Vote on motion as amended - 4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried
