The problem <br />may be overstated, however, as the proposed restaurant entrance <br />is relatively close to Old Highway 8 and not within the actual <br />apartment parking areas. We would also note that the proposed <br />Comprehensive Plan suggests consolidating driveways along roaos such <br />as Old Highway 8. Another possibility may be to access directly <br />off of Old Highway 8. Such an access woulo, of course, have to <br />be approved by Ramsey coun~y. A County Highway Engineer has <br />indicated access off of Old Highway 8 may be possibly though it <br />would not be likely that the county would allow the existing road <br />median to be cut. with the median, access off of Old Highway 8 <br />would only be possible for south bound traffic.
