Die~formed <br />peaked roof of aluminum sheet is spot-welded and <br />gasketed to housing. Finish on housing shall be <br />baked enamel. Ballast components, core and coil, <br />capacitor, and fused terminal block shall be mount- <br />ed on an aluminum bar and mounted in area behind <br />reflector. Ballast shall be capable of starting <br />_______________ type of lamp of________ watts <br />at._ voltage down to -20oF. The 20QoC, 600- <br />volt insulated wiring shall be installed between the <br />600-volt fused terminal block, the ballast compo- <br />nunts. and the 600-volt class socket. The socket to <br />h,WI, nickel-plated current-carrying parts with lamp <br />gnp. <br />Reflector shall be .063 aluminum sheet or great- <br />er. die-formed, with polished Alzak'" finish to give <br />proper distribution of reflected light into the refrac- <br />tor, where along with the direct light it will provide <br />IES light distribution type____. <br /> <br />The refractor shall be clear injection-molded <br />acrylic with UV inhibitor. Horizontal and vertical <br />control will be exercised on the light presented to <br />the refractor with resulting candlepower providing <br />an even distribution of reflected light. Control of <br />high-angle candlepower to provide cutoff rating for <br />all lamp types. <br />Refractor will be encased in a four-piece extrud- <br />ed aluminum frame with two silicone gaskets <br />secured by mechanical means only, providing pro- <br />tection against dirt and moisture. The door to be <br />hinged with stainless steel pins with safety clips. <br />Latching will be done with two gOO-turn stainless <br />steel latches. <br />Arm assembly shall be an aluminum extrusion <br />serving as a spacer between pole and housing. <br />Two tie rods with prevailing-torque lock nuts shall <br />secure the luminaire to the pole. <br />The luminaire will bear the listing mark of Under- <br />writers Lab.
