<br />91 <br /> <br />~< <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-19 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAHSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGES FOR SEVERANCE COSTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1984 a Senior Accounting Clerk retired and <br />receoved $3,800 in severance pay; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, also in 1984 an employee was transferred from Parks <br />to serve as the Golf Course Superintendent; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, owing to this transfer, the severance costs have <br />all been shifted to the Golf Course even though the employee <br />has worked 19 years in Parks; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in addition to the above events, the City also <br />recognizes a need to review its overall management of vacation <br />and sick benefits. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that: <br /> <br />1. An appropriation of $3,800 shall be made from the <br />General Reserves to 101-113-4015, effective <br />December 31, 1984. <br /> <br />2. When paid, the severance costs of the Golf Course <br />Superintendent, Mr. James Skiba, shall be apportioned <br />to Parks and the Golf Course based on the years of <br />service in each. <br /> <br />3.
