In response, my client will ,agree to the proposed mitigation plan except for 1) <br />activating the apartment call box units, and 2) allowing city representatives to inspect <br />each and every unit, for the following reasons. <br /> <br />The owner has set up a process for guests of tenants accessing the property, The <br />guest calls the tenant, and the tenant must come down to let them in. The call boxes are <br />ineffective in keeping out strangers, as they will just push buttons until someone lets <br />them in. Until the property is safer, we suggest that the call boxes hot be activated, but <br />that the tenants must continue to, come down to let the guests in themselves. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The owner has been subject to inspections by the city 'inspector and the fire <br />marshal for the past few months.
