<br />/' <br />/ <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and published notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the New Brighton Village Council was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, <br />1969, in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 5th Avenue N.W., <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Donald Anderson, Councilmen D. L. Moen, Joseph Nesser, <br />paul Rebelein, Gene Romanski. Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present~ Robert W. Schaefer, Village Manager: Perry Copeland, <br />Village Attorney: Kenneth Ostlund, representing Milner <br />w. Carley and Associates, Quentin K. wood, Village <br />Engineer, Vernon Pederson, Village Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Romanski, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />minutes of April 8, 1969 meeting with the following <br />addition: "Motion by Nesser, seconded by Moen to <br />approve partial payment to Key's Well Drilling for <br />pump in the amount of $4,855.50" and the minutes of <br />April 15, 1969. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes carried <br /> <br />Minutes of <br />April 8 and <br />April 15 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion by Nesser, seconded by Moen to approve <br />Change Order #4 Park Shelters in the amount of <br />$1,028.50 to paint interior walls and panels <br />of shelters. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Change Order <br />#4 Park <br />Shelters <br /> <br />Motion by Romanski, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />request of Northwestern Bell Company to place <br />buried cable 16th Avenue S.W. between County Road E <br />and 3rd Street S.W. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Northwestern <br />Bell to place <br />buried cable <br /> <br />Motion by Romanski, seconded by Rebelein to adopt <br />a resolution entitled RESOLUTION REORDERING PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT 69-2 AND ORDERING VILLAGE <br />CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTIFICATION OF HEARING FOR <br />MAY 13, 1969 at 8:45 P.M. <br />5 ayes - O,nayes - carried <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />#682 <br />Improvement <br />69-2 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called. <br />Motion by Moen, seconded by Rebelein to close <br />hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Romanski, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />Special Use Permit for construction of church at <br />Silver Lake Road and 5th Street N.W. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Special Use <br />Permit #27 <br />
