<br />We have reviewed resolutions adopted by the governing body of New Brighton,
<br />Minnesota (the "City"), on , 1980 and , 1980 (the
<br />"Resolutions"), respectively, relating to a proposal that the City issue its
<br />revenue bonds or notes under Mi~nesota Statutes, Chapter 474, to finance, in
<br />whole or in part, a project in behalf of Micom Corporation.
<br />
<br />On the basis of our review of the Resolutions and preliminary discussions
<br />with representatives of Micom Corporation as to the nature of the project and the
<br />proposed financing, it is presently our opinion that the project constitutes a
<br />"project" within the meaning of Hinnesota Statutes, Section 474.02, Subdivision
<br />l(a), and that the City is authorized, assuming further proceedings are taken in
<br />accordance with the provisions of Chapter 474 and any other applicable law, to
<br />issue its revenue bonds as proposed by the Resolutions.
