' <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 16, 1982 <br /> <br />LP-135, OCEAN CONTAINERS <br /> <br />Phil ~Perron, applicant was present. He stated that his tenants - <br />Ocean Containers did not want to put a Class 5 on the storage areas, <br />and did not want to use decorative block. <br /> <br />Staff indicated that the "dustless surface" and decorative block <br />was required by code. If the applicant did not conform, he would <br />have to request a variance. <br /> <br />Mr. Perron stated he would like for his tenant and staff to resolve <br />the differences. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, second by Baker to recommend approval of LP-135 <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That final grading and drainage plans be approved by <br />Rice Creek Watershed District and City Engineer; <br />2. That the northern driveway be paved and have concrete <br />curbing up to the 40 foot setback line; <br />3. That the applicant provide a dustless surface to be <br />approved by the City Engineer for all container storage, <br />driving lanes and parking areas; <br />4. That the 40 foot landscape strip follow the cul-de-sac on <br />the northeast corner of the property and that this area be <br />sodded and not used for parking or storage; <br />5. That the tenants/owner discontinue driving on the northern <br />landscaped area; <br />6. That the west wall of the proposed addition be constructed <br />of entirely decorative block not standard concrete block; <br />7. That the required six vehicular parking spaces be relocated <br />and approved by the City Planner; <br />8. That wooden posts be placed for the length of the northern <br />landscaped area to protect such area from encroachment; and <br />9. That the applicant conform with revised site and landscape <br />plans dated and signed by the applicant and City Planner. <br />7 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
