...

~

"

Any filling below the established IOO-year floodplain elevation for the
site is prohibited unless compensatory storage is provided. Also,
minimum building opening elevations must be at least two feet above the
established IOO-year floodplain elevation.

Easements will be required over all areas on the property 50 feet either
side of the centerline of any officially established county or judicial
ditch, and in areas with elevations less than the established IOO-year
floodplain elevation.

A stormwater management plan for this site must address stormwater
management for all contiguous properties owned by the applicant.

Because this site contains wetlands, permit approval may also be required
from the DNR and the Corps of Engineers.

The District will also require that any grading or filling not alter the
existing drainage patterns through the site.

The District will require calculations showing that the hydraulic capacity
of the ditch will not be altered and crossings will not impede the flow.

A building setback of feet must be provided from the NOHW for the
adjacent water body. ----

Preparation of a sediment-erosion control plan will be necessary which
will retain all sediment on site. This plan must also include an
implementation schedule for erosion control measures including notes
addressing the establishment of temporary or permanent vegetative cover
after the completion of grading.

The Board of Managers meets regularly on the fourth Wednesday of each month to
act on permit applications. All information must be submitted thirteen (13)
calendar days prior to the meeting date in order for the submittal to be
considered at the meeting.

Please be advised that no construction operations are authorized without
permit approval from the Rice Creek Watershed District.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 473-4224.

Very truly yours,

EUGENE A.
