The following items were noted:

1. Safety issues require resolution by both the City Traffic Engineering
Department and the School District. The School District requires a study
of the location of student crosswalk to the street crosswalk.

2. A center island between incoming and outgoing traffic was discussed. No
decision was made.

3. Bus turning radii of 30' inside diameter and 50' outside diameter were
noted.

4. The use of speed bumps to reduce traffic going from the park thru the
school parking lot to exit, and thus, avoid the stop signs, was discussed.

5. The width of the entrance and exit drives was discussed. The City
discussed widths of 20' per lane down to 16' per lane. The Architect noted
that a 24' drive was used in the School District study.

6. The location of the curb to be installed was discussed. It was decided
that the north curbing would be installed up to the existing "School
Parking Only" sign, and at the east parking lot, the curbing would be
installed up to the north edge of the existing sidewalk at the school.
